Amy has enjoyed an eclectic career. In her younger days, she pursued a career in theater as a stage actor in San Francisco, Hawaii and Seattle. Since moving to Southern California in the early ’80s, Amy has had numerous corporate management jobs and was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Newport Beach, specializing in investment education for women. Since 2002, Larson has served the nonprofit community of Southern California. Amy has been Director of Development for Laguna Playhouse and The Wooden Floor. She founded Poppyfield Consulting Services in 2012, to help bring profit to nonprofits. Larson has served on the Board of Leadership Tomorrow, on the Executive Board of The Guilds of Segerstrom Center, as Membership Co-Chair for American Association of University Women-Laguna Beach and was Board President for Women in Management-Orange County. Amy is proud to have been an Impact Giving Partner since 2009. Amy is married to Jake Smith (a stage romance that worked out!) and enjoys travel, music of all kinds, theatre and dance.
