Concern America
With their $30,000 grant from Impact Giving, Concern America plans to expand women’s healthcare to other villages by training 25 new midwives and 145 new healthcare practitioners. In addition, advanced training will be provided to 100 existing midwives and practitioners on the diagnosis and treatment of cervical and breast cancers.

Pathways to Independence
Impact Giving’s $25,000 Grant will be used to convert the volunteer coordinator position to a part-time paid position. This position will help transform the lives of disadvantaged single young women through education, therapy, mentoring, housing, and healthcare, to break the cycle of poverty and abuse. Funds will also be used to purchase software to measure and track participants during and after the program.

Bicycles for Humanity
The $20,000 grant from Impact Giving will deliver bikes to Katima Namibia covering shipping costs and work needed to convert a shipping container into a bike shop. The shop will live on the grounds of the Butterfly Community Center which contains a primary school, kitchen and meeting house.

Bracken's Kitchen
Bracken’s kitchen will use their $20,000 Grant from Impact Giving to purchase a “semi-automated production line and tray sealing” piece of equipment. The assembly line process will make packaging easier for volunteers, reducing the time spent on each meal and increasing capacity to deliver more meals to the community.

Hope Builders
Their $15,000 Grant from Impact Giving will enroll more students into the Medical Assistant job training program at Hope Builders. There are about 30,000 unemployed and undereducated young adults (ages 16-24) in Orange County and employers have thousands of open positions. The costs come from training materials, transportation vouchers, mental health support, and a $100 weekly stipend each student receives during training.

Save Our Youth
Currently serving 400 teens,130 of whom are part of the First Generation College-Bound program, Save Our Youth (SOY) is suffering financial cutbacks with the program operating with only two dedicated staff. SOY will use Impact Giving’s $15,000 Grant to add another college adviser to serve an additional 50 students with college guidance support. oes here
