International Orphan Care (2018)

International Orphan Care’s mission is to Help Orphans in war ravaged Afganistan be Productive and Educated (HOPE) by providing a multi-step comprehensive program which includes financial, educational, vocational and technical assistance, allowing orphans and their families to ultimately maintain financial freedom and independence.
Grant Recipient in 2018 - $10,000
Impact Giving’s grant provided 80 “tool kits” (sewing machines or carpentry sets) received at graduation. In addition, the funds purchased & installed solar panels for 2 buildings & 2 batteries for the back-up generator which provided consistent electricity at the school to light their educational path.
