Give a Child Life (2015, 2016, 2017)

Give a Child Life worked with the community to bring food, education and light to the children of Nairobi.
Grant Recipient in 2015 - $12,000
Impact Giving’s grant for the “Light up a child’s life” program, provided 500 solar lights plus installation training to a slum area in Kenya for over 600 adults and 2500 children.
Grant Recipient in 2016 - $24,000
Impact Giving’s grant supported “1,000 Lights and Gardens for Kids”: Installing 1,000 Mabati Bulbs and 1,000 DoorStep container Gardens for the poorest families living in the urban slums of Thika, Nairobi, and Kenya.
Grant Recipient in 2017 - $30,000
Impact Giving’s grant provided 2,000 Mobati Bulbs, 500 solar lanterns and build a workshop of the solar installation team in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
NOTE: In 2017 Give a Child Life was closed down and operations were transferred to staff in Kenya.
