KIM FRY
Program & Operations Manager
Kim Fry joined Impact Giving in 2017 as the Program and Operations Manager and manages the day-to-day operations, supports our Partners, Board and various the initiatives and activities of Impact Giving.
Kim grew up overseas (Tokyo, London and Hong Kong) and after college pursued commercial banking before a two-year stint in the Peace Corps (Jamaica) supporting small businesses. Returning to the US, she earned her MBA from Emory University and then joined the management training program at 3M in St. Paul, MN where in time, she managed the marketing efforts of the Fuel Cell incubator program. In 2000, she moved to Orange County to marry and worked at the UC Irvine’s National Fuel Cell Research Center as their Outreach Director. Taking some time off to raise two kids, she reentered the workforce working as a teacher’s assistance before landing her “dream job” with Impact Giving. Kim also supports another local nonprofit (and Impact Giving grant recipient), Solutions for Urban Ag.
When not supporting Impact Giving, you can find Kim on the soccer fields cheering on her daughter, on day trips in LA visiting her son (film production entrepreneur), traveling, attending concerts, playing pickle ball (new passion!) and generally enjoying life with her family and friends.
