Diving Into Impact: Alex Robinson’s Inspiring Journey with Impact Giving

Meet our beautiful and fabulous partner, Alex Robinson!

Alex was born and raised in Newport Beach and got involved with Impact Giving through Brittany Renna, whom she works with at Whittier Trust. Brittany introduced her to the group, highlighting how it could be a meaningful and streamlined way to give back. After attending the 2023 Grant Kickoff Tea, Alex was immediately drawn in.

As a partner, she was proud to sponsor Giving It Back to Kids last year, which made it to the finals!

Alex currently serves on the Board as the Partner Engagement Chair, a role where she coordinates monthly gatherings highlighting grant recipients, social events for partners and the annual awards dinner! Alex’s passion is bringing people together, so her Board position is a perfect fit for her strengths and personality.

Professionally, Alex is a Client Advisor at Whittier Trust, where she provides white-glove service to families. Before that, she ran an event planning business. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Purdue University.

A fun fact about Alex—she once co-owned a dog collar and leash company! She also has a passion for travel, with Roatán, Honduras being one of her favorite destinations. She was invited on a trip there with just 24 hours’ notice and went on an incredible diving adventure.

When asked about the best part of Impact Giving, Alex shared that she loves learning about different organizations and being inspired by their missions. However, the biggest surprise has been the incredible friendships she has formed—friendships that continue to grow deeper over time.
