Meet one of Impact Giving's newest Partner's, Beth McCluney, a remarkable woman whose journey is as inspiring as it is heartwarming. Beth is a woman of action—when she sees a need, she steps up. From fostering children to becoming a Partner with Impact Giving, her story is one of love, dedication, and community.

Beth and her husband have been married for an incredible 38 years—a testament to their commitment and partnership. Together, they have raised three adult children and recently adopted their now five-year-old daughter after fostering her. Their journey into fostering began when their youngest child left for grad school, and they saw an opportunity to provide love and stability to infants in need.

Beyond her dedication to family, Beth has always been deeply involved in philanthropy. Her friend Annette Sullivan introduced her to Impact Giving and she immediately recognized it as the perfect fit—an opportunity to make a difference without the heavy time commitment of previous Board positions in which she had served. She was drawn to Impact Giving's mission, the flexibility of involvement, and the amazing women who make up the organization.

Beth’s past is just as vibrant as her present. Before devoting herself to family and philanthropy, she pursued acting, performing in theater productions such as The Pajama Game as the lead character, Babe Williams with the La Mirada Theatre group.

Outside of her philanthropic work, Beth loves to travel, enjoys great restaurants (maybe a little too much, as she jokes!), and cherishes laughter and fun. She’s a straight shooter who believes in honesty, connection, and making the most out of life.

Currently Beth and her husband split their time between Fullerton, where they raided their children and their beach house on Balboa Island. Beth is a shining example of how one person’s generosity and passion can shape lives. We are thrilled to highlight her journey and the impact she continues to make.
